Program

Henry was not available to give the program, so good ol' Pete filled in again. We can always count on Pete in a pinch to provide us with an informative program. He told us a little bit about how the current state budget shortfalls, cutbacks, and tax revolts are affecting the County. He urged the voters to remember that taxes can not be cut perpetually without cutting services, so when you put the taxes on the chopping block, pick out a service to set beside it.

• This Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 8:00 AM, the Elk's Club interior will be repainted. Your help would be greatly appreciated, so if you have the time, please toss on some paint clothers and head on over to help out.
• This is just a reminder that our installation barbecue will be coming up soon on June 22, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Rec Area 3 in the Haulapais.
• The program committee will be putting together the program schedule for the next six months in the coming weeks. If you have a preference for date, please contact them and let them know ASAP, but there are no guarantees.
