Erin Schreurs is a dual language teacher at KAHS and runs the Renaissance Club. The Renaissance Club at KAHS is doing some amazing things for their students. Renaissance Club is not what you typically think with the knights and ren fairs, but it is a club through Jostens with the focus on fostering a positive school culture.

The impact has been measurable since the first year they implemented it in 2018. Since then the school has been recognized as Platinum (the top tier) for 5 years, and then last year Josten's added a new top tier of Diamond, and they earned that designation. It was not an easy feat, but Ms. Schreurs has worked with the students to foster this environment.

They have made referrals for POSTIVE behaviors and rewards systems. They follow the 6 R's : Respect + Recognize + Reward + Reinforce + Relationships = Results.

It was clear to see that KAHS and Ms. Schreurs  are truly dedicated to the students and making school a place the students want to be at. Thank you for everything you do!

Eric fessed up that his birthday was in December, so today we sang Happy Birthday!

Happy belated Birthday Eric.
