The Danger of a Single Story

Laura presented the program this week with a very interesting Ted Talk. The talk was about how singular points of view can be dangerous as we form an opinion based on that singular lens. Laura found it important as Rotarians to hear this story along with being reminded about singular points of view. As Rotarians we work with others and help others from many different places, backgrounds, socio-economic, and religious backgrounds.

Join Kingman's Soroptimist Group (Laura and Kristen are both members) for Women's History Month to do a walk around Centennial Park. The path is less than a mile, and will be Soroptimist Members, Family, and Friends to join together on a fun little walk for women. 

Wear Blue! Bring hydration! Bring positive female songs!

Student Scholarship Applications will be open this month and chosen in April by committee.
