Board Meeting July 15th
Last week we had our first board meeting of the new year. This meeting was great and filled with passion for our club. We went over our goals for the club not only for this year but building a great future with our club.
We discussed how we would like the meetings to be structured each month and decided on the following:
- 1st Meeting - Responsible Member Program
- 2nd Meeting - Teacher of the Month
- 3rd Meeting - Student of the Month
- 4th Meeting - Board Meeting
- 5th Meeting - Evening Social
We did also floated the idea of turning some of the board meetings into evening socials hosted at someone's home if they are interested in that idea.
Additionally, through the summer months May to August we would like to do more social type meetings since we have 2 additional meetings open those months.
We all volunteered for a month for programs and we have the following for those to pick:
- April 2027
- June 2027
- July 2027
If you would like to volunteer for one, please let Kristen know. A calendar of events is in process to be send out to everyone.
Lastly, Charlie arranged with Dambar a simpler process on handing meals that are paid for individually. So if you pay for your meal individually, starting now you will pay Dambar directly $16, it includes tip too. Bonus to this no more transaction fee!
July 22nd Meeting
At the meeting today, we had guests from the Route 66 Satellite Club - Stargazers. They created a Monday evening club that meets twice a month. Kate and Jacob from the Stargazers came to share about their new club. They also shared that the Friday morning Rotary club will be doing their annual Oktoberbest the 1st weekend of October with possibly combining it with First Friday. If you didn't know, on First Friday they have a booth selling their delicious brawts that are made specially by Mohave Meat Co.
GOLF TOURNAMENT!
Scott is forming the committee for the tournament. Discussions for the date of tournament are Labor Day Weekend or first Weekend of October. An update on this will come soon, so we can start fundraising and getting sponsors.

We are in need of volunteers for the following meetings to be ran by someone as Dan will be either traveling for work, personal, and hunting.. If you would like to choose one or multiple days let Kristen know.
