"Kingman Parks and Recreation"
Yvonne, the Recreation Coordinator for Kingman City Parks and Recreation, came (on very short notice) to let us know a little bit about what's shaking with fun in the sun in Kingman, Arizona courtesy of the stellar staff at the Parks and Recreation Department.
Yvonne described many great programs and trips sponsored by the department such as including deep sea fishing, numerous classes such as ballroom dancing and several special events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Basketball Bonanza. Aside from the great deal of effort put forth by Yvonne and the rest of the Parks and Recreation staff, much of the special events and programs wouldn't be possible without the added efforts of dozens of volunteers each year. Yvonne welcomes involvement from everyone in the community - if you are interested, you can contact her or the other Parks and Rec staff at the Parks and Rec office.
