Club Assembly

This week's meeting was a club assembly, so all members broke out into our different committees and discussed the current state, reviewed activities, and made suggestions for improvements. For details of the discussions, please contact Billy.

Announcements

  • Please don't forget to pay your quarterly dues before the end of April. Having this information in before the end of April will help us with our annual tax prepration and next year's budgeting.
  • Our Rotary installation for the new year has been re-scheduled for January 22 at the Hualapai Recreation Area #3 at 02:00 PM. Please mark this date on your calendar. More details will be available soon.
  • There is a Governing Board meeting this coming Monday, April 14, 2008 at Calico's at 12:00 PM. Remember that attending Board meetings this is a great way to do a make-up and get extra insight into the management of our club. See you there!
  • Our Highway Cleanup Project will be this Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 08:30 AM. We will be meeting at the CastleRock Pizzaria on Highway 93. JC has suggested that we carpool if possible due to the limited parking. Clean Up only takes a couple of hours, so please pop out for a bit and help out. See you there!
  • Remember, April 23 is Administrative Assistance Appreciation day, so don't forget to bring your favorite administrative assistant along with you to our meeting. Also, April 30, is the 5th week in April, so you know what that means - make sure and bring your significant other along with you.
  • On May 25 the Route 66 Club will be hosting a "Hole in One" Fundraiser from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cerbat Cliffs golf course. For more information, see the Route 66 Rotary website.
  • The Museum will be opening an exciting new mining exhibit this Friday at 6:00 PM.
  • We have begun a new documentation project for the club which will allow us to begin recording our procedures, histories, duties, etc. for our various projects and day to day operation. You will be receiving user names and passwords over this next week to access the on-line documentation tool. When you receive it, please log in, and contribute information where you can. Thanks!
  • Eric is on leave of absence and will not be able to give our program on April 30, if anyone is willing to take this slot, please contact Billy.
