Our club is very active in the local and global community. Here is a not-so-brief list of some of the events and projects that we hosted or supported within the last year.
- Rotary Youth Exchange
- Hosting of foreign exhange student
- Rotary Scholarships
- Several annual scholarship awarded to KHS seniors
- RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Academy)
- Annual sponsorship of two KHS students to attend RYLA
- Interact Club
- Sponsorship and support of high school equivalent of Rotary
- Student Rotarian
- Acknowledgment and award to high school students for their accomplishments
- Highway Trash Cleanup
- Semi-annual cleanup of Kingman Rotary Clubs' adopted highway
- Easter Basket Project
- Purchase and distribution of Easter baskets to underprivileged elementary school students
- Wheelchair Project
- Donation of wheelchairs to Mexico for underprivileged people. Jack and Billy flew to Mexico this year to work on this project. Billy is also now the District Coordinator for this project
- Nothing But Net
- Donation for mosquito nets for children in Africa to prevent malaria.
- Gift of Life
- Yearly donation to "Gift of Life" program which is a program that assists children who need life-saving surgery
- Kingman Food Bank
- Annual contribution during the Holidays to area food bank
- Indian Water Well Project
- Donation to water well project in India to assist their citizens with clean water
- Mohave Silent Witness
- Annual donation
- Kingman High School Shirt Fund
- Donation to KHS for students who cannot afford the mandatory shirts
- Rotary Foundation
- Annual (large) contribution
- Kingman High School PAL
- Donation for books
- Kingman Boy and Girls Club
- Annual donation to this organization
- Living the Loss of Your Child
- Contribution to this program
- Kingman Rotary Club Golf Tournament
