Kingman Little League

Russ Skubal from the Kingman Little League recently approached the Kingman Rotary Club hoping to raise funds for new upgrades to the South fields including new bullpens and backstops. The Kingman Rotary Club has an ongoing commitment to serve both the global and local communities and was happy to join other local organizations in sponsorship of the Little League.

Russ told the club that the Route 66 Rotary Club had agreed to a $2,000 sponsorship of the Little League, so with some friendly jeering, the Kingman Rotary Club agreed to match the $2,000 from the 66 club - but that wasn't quite enough. Long time Kingman Rotary Club member and past District Governor William Porter decided to kick in an extra $1,000 personally on behalf of the club to bring the grand total to $3,000. The new upgrades to the South fields look great thanks to Russ' fundraising efforts and the generosity of organizations such as the Kingman Rotary Club.
