A Fond Farewell

A fond farewell to a wonderful person and fellow Rotarian.

I sat in shock during yesterday's club meeting when Billy announced the passing of Nolan Davis.

Nolan passed Sunday, October 21, 2007. He was born in Kingman July 22, 1938.

As club members stood up and reminisced on their memories of Nolan, I was in awe of the words used to described him. Gentle, loving, kind, NOBLE, gentleman, generous, loyal, dedicated were just some of the many, many words I heard.

I, unfortunately, only knew Nolan for a short time but will always remember the gracious smile and firm handshake he greeted me with at every club meeting.

So, it's with a sad, sad heart that we must say goodbye to one of Kingman's finest.

Rest in peace, Good Sir!!

The family is having a celebration of Nolan's life on Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Elk's Club from 1 to 5 pm.
